 Job description: 
Being a successful BI developer depends on more than just your proficiency with SQL; it also depends on how well you understand our business and how you influence the reporting environment. Along with developing new metrics and dimensions to improve our understanding of performance, the BI Developer will work with the Data Management Team to make sure these are made available to the larger data community. 
In collaboration with the Data Management Team, you will guarantee that all important metrics and dimensions are generated inside the Data Warehouse and thoroughly documented.
You will be in charge of leveraging your SQL and Power BI skills to automate the creation of the manual reports that are currently being produced. 
Your role will also include: 
Make and manage dashboards using Power BI. 
Create and manage unique dashboards and graphics that encourage inquiry and action while offering insights into important company trends.
 Assist the Data Management Team in creating and enhancing the capabilities of the data warehouse.
 Utilising SQL, query tables and investigate strategies to maximise business efficiency important attention to detail and a curious mind.
 Who are you?
 Strong SQL knowledge and the ability to comprehend and write sophisticated SQL queries on many platforms are prerequisites for success in this position. 
You've worked with Power BI both on-premises and in the cloud (Azure), and you have a natural talent for imaginative data visualisation.
 You can interact and establish relationships with stakeholders at all levels if you have good written and verbal communication skills in English. 
The secret is to be able to "grasp the ask." 
Other key experiences: 
a minimum of five years' experience with the Azure Platform, SQL, DAX, and Power Query in a comparable role. familiarity creating dashboards and reports with Power BI both on-premises and in the cloud.
 An advantage would be prior expertise supporting data analytics in finance, collections, or payments. adept at using Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other features. understanding of financial systems, reconciliation procedures, and, ideally, debt collection procedures and practices. strong organisational abilities, capacity for multitasking in a high-pressure setting, and ability to prioritise. able to enhance and optimise data process automation. 
Capable of deciphering and translating complicated reasoning into useful insights. a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, economics, or a similar discipline.
